For those of you that are energetic, or can't move from the computer, why not take one of our internet tours. Either print out and take the tour with you on your walk or enjoy it from the comfort of your home.

Using Google Maps we have put together two tours on the internet. Just navigate your way around by clicking on the points of interest. You can use the mouse to drag the map around and zoom in and out using the slider at the top left. You can also view these tours in Google Earth (you'll need to register and download the program first, but then just click the link on the link in the maps saying View in google earth). Tour 1 - Walk away from Jaywick
This is a circular tour around taking about 4-5 hours to walk (about 10.5 miles). The walk immerses us in the marshes, their flora and fauna.  Our recommended start is from the Car Park on Tamarisk Way in Jaywick but as its circular you can start from anywhere.

Tour 2 - Walking back to happiness
This is a linear tour starting in Holland on Sea and ending up in Jaywick. To walk it takes about 2-3 hours (about 5 miles). All along this fantastic seafront, through the fleshpots of Clacton and down past the golf course. Lovely !

Tour 3 - Let the waters roll down..
This is an audio tour which encompasses the history, wildlife and people of Jaywick. Read by residents, visitors and workers in Jaywick this tour is a 3 ½ miles walk, taking approximately 2 hours. Alternatively download it and listen from your armchair, on the bus or in the car.
